The Change Project - The Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty Initiative
The CHANGE project is a language-based campaign aimed at a world wide audience, questioning those in power with what they are doing to tackle the usage of fossil fuels. The brief is from The Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty, with a request on symbolism that portrays unity and to create a change similar to the peace symbol in the 1960's. Similar to the peace symbol, the symbol provides ambiguous meaning which was implemented as a letter 'A' to create the theme around the languages that use a latin-script alphabet. Connecting citizens around the world that are frustrated around the usage of fossil fuels.

Examples of usage includes an international public transport card designed to offer a travel discount dependant on transportation authority. This would be used via a QR code either with an electronic or physical card whereas 10 tickets would grant the user a free all-day transport ticket. The goal of this would be to attract the public to switch from personal vehicles to public transport, preventing an influx of carbon emissions. Another similar example was an electronic clubcard for grocery shopping dependant on the supermarket chain. This would offer discounts to items that have been locally grown and produced with little to no usage of carbon emissions including transport & manufacturing methods. Both the travel and grocery shopping card would be downloaded through The Change App where users can also track their progress for a free ticket or see what grocery items are on offer.

Alongside this, promotional materials such as billboards and posters were designed to attract users to get involved with The Change Project, with a QR code directing to the installation of The Change App. Merchandise was also created for citizens around the world to connect even if they don't understand each other through language.
